Building Work Update

Building Work Update

We’ve been super busy over the last year doing lots of jobs in and around the Chapel.

All of our lighting has been upgraded to LED bulbs and we have new energy efficient heaters in our Family Space.

The wooden flooring in the main hall and prayer room has been sanded and revarnished and the carpet on the stage has been replaced.

We have new windows in our main toilets, upgraded external doors and repaired some of the external brickwork . Plus we’ve given many rooms a good lick of paint!

As we celebrate our 90th birthday this year we are so grateful for those who have gone before us in building and maintaining the Chapel and it’s an honour to be good stewards of our buildings in the years ahead.

The work we have completed is due to grant funding from the following, which we are so grateful to have received:

A BIG Thank you!

A BIG Thank you!

We are so thankful and delighted that our Family Support Service has been supported by Norfolk Community Foundation through the Love Norfolk Fund. This means that we can continue to deliver Babies Matter (next programme coming in the Autumn 2024), Kids Matter (Spring 2025) and our Renew Wellbeing space weekly for the next year! How amazing is that. If you would like to find out more please visit our Family Support page.

At a recent Sunday morning gathering we commissioned our new Leadership Team. You can find out a bit about each of them in our Leadership Team section.

We’re really excited to see how God speaks to and through them!

Journeying Together, Journaling Group Relaunched

Journeying Together, Journaling Group Relaunched

We were really excited to see our journaling group, Journeying Together relaunched this week! The group run by Jules and Donna, explores faith and has fun trying different crafts and Bible journaling techniques.

“Journeying Together is a fantastic place to meet others who enjoy faith focused journaling and crafts (and chatting over a cuppa!)” says Jules. “Our hope for the group is that we will be able to encourage each other to try new journaling techniques and have mini Bible studies within that. But mainly we hope that everyone feels safe; it is a safe space to come and be themselves in fellowship with others. You don’t need to have tried journaling before and you don’t need to be able to draw! Just come along and see if you enjoy it!”

The group meets on the second Monday of the month at The Chapel, 10-11.30am. If you are interested in coming along or would like further information about this group please contact us. Craft materials and refreshments provided.
